The Seychelles: millions of years ago, as India gradually drifted away from the African continent, the Seychelles Archipelago remained poised in magnificent isolation in the warm, crystal waters of the Indian Ocean, between 40 and 100 south of the Equator. Like pearls on a thread of 1,400,000 sq. km of azure ocean, Seychelles comprises a nucleus of 42 spectacular granitic islands, the cultural hub of the nation, and 73 sparkling sand cays and out-of-the-way atolls.
Together, these form 6 distinct groups: the Inner Islands, the Amirantes, Southern coral, Alphonse, Farquhar, and Aldabra alllying between 480 and 1600 km from the east African coast

Everywhere you will find small villages rich in  history to visit, islands with magnificent bays to spend delightful hours at anchor, gourmet Restaurants to dine in or picturesque cafe' to sit and relax  while watching the promenades.
